Well, start off by telling him that It would be a convienence to him, because he can reach you at all times. This might sound weird, but tell him that most contracts have where you can cancel a contract after the first month if youre not happy with it, and itll be no problem, tell him to just go ahead, trust you enought to put you on a contract or a month or so, and if he thinks youre using too many minutes, just take the phone away, an yeah, if thats confusing nevermind, but otherwise, just ensure him you will be careful with minutes, remind him youre responisble, etc.

Yeah! that sounds like a great idea, if it comes down to you not having any good ideas, get her a gift certificate to the mall or her favorite store, that way its easier and she can buy whatever she wants. I do it all the time. =)

I would like some advice on what to look for in a decent, used Laptop computer. I'm looking to use this for internet use, Word programs etc, and pretty light on the game play with a CD Rom and floppy. What is the price range I'm looking at for something very decent but also not new, because I only have about $350 max to work with.

Is it lame of me to think to find a good laptop on ebay?
If I try to find one on ebay, what specs should I look for? I'm not up on what RAM, ROM, is considered 'good', or anything about internet cards.

I was also told that laptops are basically useless, and that if I want a personal computer I should just get a desktop one. How true is this?
Is my search hopeless?

Its not really LAME to look on ebay for laptops, you've just got to be really careful about who you're buying from and stuff, otherwise if you're not careful you could get ripped off. My laptop I have is an Inspiron 2650, its held up pretty well. Ive had it for like 2 years. It has windows XP, DVD player, 256 MB and stuff like that. When looking for a laptop, try to get one with XP, and def. not anythings below 98. Also, the operating system of WINDOWS ME has NOT been a good system from what ive heard and it sucks. if you decide to not get a laptop, you can probably get an O.K desktop thats brand new, but remember you get wut u pay for. I am 14 and female. I get A's in school, but sometimes I think I have ADD because when I'm not interested I just space out.

Well, at least I WANT to think I have ADD.

You see, my friend told me that ADD medication like Aderol and Ritalin (I can't spell, please help there..) makes your metabolism hella fast and makes you lose weight like crazy. Many of my friends have ADD and I can prove this statement true because they have all lost weight since their diagnosis. Now I'm not the skinniest person but I'm at an ideal weight right now. I would like to lose at least 10 pounds or so. It isn't a lot and it would do me good.

I wonder if this is worth it. Should I go get tested? I know it's like using crystal meth to get skinny like my friend did, because it is a perscription drug, but when I told my mom she almost started crying she was so mad and my friends are worried about me. Is it really that bad? Should I consider that I may have ADD even though my attention span is pretty long for my age and that would just be an excuse to lose weight? Or should I just drop the topic? I know this is really vain, but I need some advice. Thanks.

Well, its known for some people, that ritilan makes you not hungry, but not for everyone. Do not take it unless you are tested for sure that you have ADD. If youre that desperate to loose weight, eat healthy and exercise.
